The Ensemble Theatre in Kirribilli, Sydney, is Australia’s longest, continuously running professional theatre company and aims to produce live theatre of the highest quality that entertains, educates, enlightens and challenges.
Since its inception, the Ensemble has presented over 350 productions at its home venue, the Playhouse, Sydney Opera House, Theatre Royal, Seymour Centre and The Concourse Theatre. Many of Australia’s favourite performers have appeared at the Ensemble Theatre and the company has also toured many productions around Australia and presented overseas in the UK and at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Ensemble Theatre (http://ensemble.com.au) based on Sydney's North Shore has received $300,000 from The Balnaves Foundation. It's a gift, Ensemble's artistic director Mark Kilmussy says, that was a direct result of a visit to the theatre by the Foundation's chairman Neil Balnaves.
